March 9
We decided on color scheme and theme for Prezi
We created storyboard using Google Docs, then transferred to our Wiki.
We laid out the information and photos on the Prezi, and created our path.
We wrote a script for our Dracula Voki.
We created the Voki (and spent several hours trying to convert, upload, embed, etc.) Finally, we recorded Emilie's husband saying the script and put a still photo of the Voki into Movie Maker, then uploaded to YouTube, THEN was able to link in the Prezi.
Katie is working on an attention grabber.
Katie will flesh out Steps 2 and 3.
We will add lesson ideas tomorrow.

March 2

Collaboration on Google Doc, then Google Chat is documented below. Emilie typed the ideas we threw out, and I am posting a summary in the discussion tab of what we went over.

Both

Audience: Title I Elementary School Classroom Teachers, revised to 2nd grade teachers
Relevance: Includes examples that teachers can implement directly and immediately into their current lessons. The samples are relevant to what the teachers are teaching already, but make it better, more engaging, and more fun!

Persuasion: Via technology tool/sounds/images and why this process will be used over and over again throughout students' lives (Animoto? Photo Story? VoiceThread?)

IDEAS:
Black & White Photographs of students
It's Rhymes! Plan, Do, Review!
It's Simple! Only 3 steps!
Good for all ages (scan pictures of Kinder through 5th graders)
Spiral order?

Voice thread?

Lessons: Greek Mythology (Wanted Posters), Fairy Tales (Reader's Theatre), Biographies (Glogster), Disasterous Weather (Mock Weather Report)

Did you want to story board like Dr. M's wiki or try one fo the storyboard web 2.0 tools?
I think something different

Mar. 2 Collaboration information below is from Google Docs, then Emilie added the rest of our collaboration from Google talk above.

Auto follow
Mixed formats - Words, pictures, voice thread with or without Avatar?
Video
Music
Photos
Sentimental
Informative
Persuasive
3. Review rubric to make sure we're hitting all the points
4. Draft out storyboard for Prezi (if that's what we stick with)
